Our Partners on-site
Pradeep Guragain
Thomas and Pradeep have had a fatherly relationship for several years. Pradeep has its roots in a village of Samundratar in the province of Nuwakot. With a good education and with his experience as a trekking guide - Pradeep loves nature - and his business knowledge, he managed to set up his own trekking agency. Knowing how important education is, he supports our projects and is a central point of contact on site. |
Saugat Adhikari
Saugat also has its roots in a village in the province of Nuwakot. With his studies in computer science, he would have the chance to work abroad, but decided to start a business in his own country. As partners, Saugat and Pradeep successfully run a trekking agency. |
Kishor Archaya
Kishor is the elected chair of the Village Development Committee in Samundratar and a teacher at Rukmani Higher Secondary School. He knows the concerns and needs of the students and the school. Together with the teaching staff, he makes suggestions as to what help and support is needed and monitors their implementation. |
Help currently needed!
Approximately 30% of the planned costs are currently missing for the ongoing project to build a school hostel (details of the project can be found here). If everyone contributes a small part, we can all do something about poverty in Nepal by supporting local education directly.
